This event honors Jim Thorpe, one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century, and our town's namesake. The 15th Annual Jim Thorpe Birthday Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 23rd, 2011 at Josiah White Park in Jim Thorpe.
